I enjoy warm sweaters, cold nights and fallen leaves.I sip on cups of tea, coffee and hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows. I think that reading nooks should be mandatory, and that books fuel our minds. I believe in prayer, in reaching out and that love is the greatest super power that we can have. I believe in little girls becoming strong women, of little boys becoming heroes. I adore good mothers, and even more great fathers. I believe in my strengths, in my thoughts and in my ability to change the world. I want to change the world, and I know that I am meant to do something greater than myself.
I am here to empower young women, to be the Oprah of my generation, to spread love and dreams. As a little girl I never felt the love that I thought I deserved, or that I knew I needed. I was never held long enough, told I love you enough, or kissed enough. I never was taught the things that I should have been. Never did I have long kitchen sessions with my mother, involving flour-covered counters and cookie dough eaten more then baked. I am finally wise enough to know these things that I missed, that I needed even if so much time has passed. I have gained self-confidence through my struggles and each lesson that I had learned. Self-confidence in Latin means literally to have faith. I have faith that my words, that my growing heart, that my mind and the thoughts trapped inside will inspire others.
I start each day, with motivational words and beautiful women who inspire me.
Michelle Phan has taught me to be clam, to be beautiful and to be myself. Oprah has taught me to pray, to dream and to believe in my own goals. Alex Beadon inspired me to start this blog, to really work hard at each post.
I aspire to reach other women, young girls, little girls to show them how to grow. I want to be there to hold their hands when they need a friend, and to lend a shoulder when they feel sad. To remind them that they are beautiful, to help them find their strengths, to change the world. I am here to say that I want to give back every lesson, every tear, every disappointment and turn it into positivity. To truly open the minds of our future generations, to show them how much power they have. There are few who are blessed enough, to realize their potential. There are even fewer who know what they want to do for the rest of their lives. I am a writer, a dreamer, a believer, and I never take no for an answer. If I can spend the rest of my life writing, lifting others up and changing lives then I will have succeeded. Like these women who inspire me, and motivate me every single day I too want to be able to reach out in the same way. To tell women that they are beautiful, with makeup or without. To tell little girls that they can become the first woman president, and that I will be there biggest supporter. I want to be able to tell young women that education is the key to success, and that it opens more doors than they have seen in their lifetimes. It is important to always remember, that each of us has a purpose and a reason why we exist. I know my purpose and I wont let anything stop me from reaching my dreams.
