When You Lose Your Hair Because of Chronic Illness, Don't Lose Hope!

Losing your hair because of old age can sometimes be expected, depending on genetics and diet but losing hair because of a chronic illness that you might not be able to control is so frustrating. I can remember when I first started losing my hair because of Hashimoto's Thyroid Disease. I used to have very thick, wavy, cocker spaniel hair that was always long and full of volume. When I developed thyroid disease I lost the majority of my hair and now have thin, fine hair. Before I started using my own shampoo my hair would lay flat on my head and I have to admit that I've thought about shaving all of my hair off more than once. Years ago the options for those who suffered from hair loss because of an illness (or mental breakdown) were limited and costly. Now the options are endless, and not only can you choose the color you want but the shape, style, and volume of the perfect wig!

Here are a few of my personal favorites that are created by Divatress!

This Isis Collection Brown Sugar Wig reminds me of the singer Tori Kelly. This style is extremely popular right now and with the gorgeous waves, it gives you the volume you miss!

This Empress wig is gorgeous, chic, and so work appropriate! This style is also great for round face shapes because it frames the face and adds a side bang for a little more balance.

This Bobby Boss wig has gorgeous tight curls, it offers a shorter style but also carries a professional look!

These wigs for women are stylish, sophisticated, and full of life! While their styles don't include many blonde options they do offer many varieties of colors to choose from. You can choose from Remi clip-ins, synthetic wigs, lace front wigs, buns, ponytails and more!
