Social Studio Shop LLC values your privacy.  This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected, and how it is used, when you visit www.socialstudioshop.com and www.socialstudioshop.leadpages.co (“Sites”).  If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not visit these Sites.

We may amend or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time.  Please review it periodically.  Your continued use of the sites after any change in this Privacy Policy will signify your acceptance of such change.

Personal Information

The only personal information we collect is what you give us.  When you leave a comment, communicate with us by email, or opt-in to our mailing list, you may elect to give us personal information such as your name, email address, geographic location, or other information which could be used to locate or contact you.

When you make a purchase through the Sites, you will be submitting personal information to our third-party payment processor, MoonClerk™which utilizes Stripe to collect payments.  The collection and use of your personal information by MoonClerk™ + Stripe is governed by its privacy policy here.  Social Studio Shop LLC is not responsible for information provided through any third-party payment processor it may use now or in the future.

Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), the Site is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. Social Studio Shop does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Sites. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.  If you believe we have collected personal information from someone under 13, please contact us at info@socialstudioshop.com.

Non-Personal Information

Our website host, third-party payment processor, and other affiliates (“Affiliates”) may collect non-personal information such as your IP address, the type of browser you are using, the referring website, the operating system you are using, your Internet service provider, the search terms you use on our Sites, the specific web pages you visit, and the duration of your visits.

Information Use

We do not sell, license, or rent your personal information. If you attend a workshop, sign up for an online course, or register for a one-on-one consulting session, we will not share your name and email with the sponsors of that event without prior approval by you.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Cookies collect certain types of non-personal information such as the search terms you use on our Sites, the specific web pages you visit, the duration of your visits, and your preferences. Social Studio Shop LLC does not use cookies.

Refunds, Cancellations + Transfers

Workshops

Refunds + Cancellations: Due to the nature of our workshops, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

Transfers: We do not allow transfers for our workshops at this time. Meaning, if you cannot attend a workshop because something has come up, you may not transfer your ticket to a future workshop.

One-On-One Consulting

Due to the nature of our live one-on-one sessions, we do not offer refunds for consulting sessions.

Online Courses

We do not offer refunds for our online courses.

Shop Items

Because our shop items are either delivered on-demand or are services that have been rendered, we do not offer returns on any of our shop items.

Payment Plans

By choosing the Payment Plan option you are entering into a legal agreement with Social Studio Shop, LLC.  The terms of this agreement are between yourself (customer) and Social Studio Shop, LLC. (company).

The customer agrees to pay the agreed monthly installments by credit card. There are no cancellations or refunds, this is a legally binding contract for services. The payments are made on the date of the purchase in proceeding months.  For example, if you purchase on the 15th of February your payments will fall due on the 15th of March, April, and May.

The company reserves the right to refuse the payment plan to customers as it sees fit for no reason.The company reserves the right to alter or change these Terms at any time.

Overdue Account Status

In the first instance of a failed transaction you will be sent an email requesting you contact the company with a new credit card, or alternative payment method.

Accounts over 30 days overdue will be referred to a debt collection agency.

Contests + Giveaways

Terms + Eligibility

NO ENTRY FEE. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Contests are open only to legal U.S. residents, over the age of 18. Void where prohibited by law.  Contestants residing in those areas where the contest is void may participate in the contest but may not win any prizes.

Instagram

Per Instagram rules, these promotions are in no way sponsored, administer, or associated with Instagram, Inc. By entering entrants confirm that they are 18+ years of age, release Instagram of responsibility, and agree to Instagram's terms of use.

Instagram Analysis Giveaway

Qualifications: 

  • Must have owned a business for at least 6 months

  • Both giveaway entrant and aforementioned friend must reside in the United States

Shipping & Production Times

Our shop and shipping department is open 9-5pm EST M-F (excluding US holidays) and most items ship the next business day except during holiday time (Black Friday - December 25th) where items are typically processed in 1-3 business days then shipped by your method of choice.

If an item is a pre-order item it will ship when noted in the listing.

Custom mug orders take 2-5 business days to create and to be made.  Your item will be shipped to you 3-5 business days after it is created and after your proof is approved.

Please note the shipping times estimated at checkout are not guaranteed by Sweet Water Decor as items are shipped by USPS and FedEx.  Sweet Water Decor is not liable for items damaged in transit but is able to replace any items damaged for you or a refund will be given to your account.  All items shipped include tracking that is provided to you in an email to you when your item is shipped.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.  If items are returned to us, shipping will need to be re-paid for your items to be sent back out to your correct address.  New product will not be shipped until we receive the package that could not be delivered. Once an item is shipped the shipping address cannot be changed.

If an item is lost in the mail and cannot be delivered, a new order must be made. Sweet Water Decor is not responsible for any items after they leave our facility. If an item is lost in transit or cannot be delivered, the buyer must contact the shipping company to resolve any shipping issues and or file any claims with that shipping company so the item can arrive safely to them. Once it leaves our facility we cannot be responsible for any item not being delivered as it is then out of our hands and shipped to the address that was provided at checkout.

 

Retail Purchases

All product is for personal use only.  All retail purchases are intended for personal use and are not to be resold.

 

Wholesale Purchases

We sell wholesale all around the United States + Canada.  If you are interested in wholesale, contact us through our wholesale page. Once we receive your information a wholesale representative will be in contact with you shortly.

All wholesale purchases must be sold by the purchasing entity and are not to be resold to or on a third party (Etsy, Amazon, etc.).  Payment is due at the time of purchase.  Wholesale orders are exempt from free shipping and additional discount codes.

Returns

Due to the nature of our product, returns are not accepted. If an item should arrive damaged we must be notified as soon as the item arrives up to 48 hours upon arrival so that you can be sent a new item.  Please submit a photo showing the damage as well as your order number to: customerservice@sweetwaterdecor.com and we will get back to you shortly!

 

SWD SHOP INFORMATION

What are your office hours? Our Office Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm EST, excluding US holidays.  All emails and questions are answered during these hours.  We respond to most emails within 24 hours.

What is your return & exchange policy? Due to the nature of the product, all sales are final.  If an item should arrive damaged or you were sent the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours or receiving your product to contact us to submit a claim.  Please provide us with your order number as well as photos of your product.  You will be sent a replacement item.

Where is SWD located?  Where will my product ship from? Sweet Water Decor is based out of Pittsburgh, PA USA.  All items ship from our shipping department located in Leetsdale, PA 15056.

I have multiple coupons, can I use them all? You may only use 1 discount code per order.  If you are purchasing wholesale, your wholesale discount is the coupon applied to your order.  Free shipping coupons are not valid for wholesale orders.
SHIPPING
How and when do you ship your items?
Our shipping department takes extra care in shipping each and every item for our shop.  All items are shipped either USPS, FedEx, or UPS.  Your item will ship within 1-3 business days.  Most items are shipped the next business day, except for any items that are pre-sale.  If an item is a pre-sale item it will be noted in the listing and is available for purchase before it hits our warehouse.  If you choose First Class (No Tracking) as a shipping option, Sweet Water Decor is not responsible for items lost in the mail.  Please contact your local post office if you have not received your item 7 days after it is shown shipped.  This is a less expensive shipping option that does not include tracking.  If you wish to have tracking please select another shipping option.  During holiday time (Black Friday in November - December 25th) items may take up to 3 days to ship due to number of orders and demand.  Any free shipping coupon is valid on standard shipping only.
*Shipping time is not guaranteed but only recommended - Please contact us at customerservice@sweetwaterdecor.com if you need help figuring out a shipping choice.  Items may arrive sooner or later than expected.

I put in the wrong shipping address, how can I get it fixed?

We ask for you to look over your order before you submit it to us to make sure all information is accurate.  If you put in a wrong shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible so we can catch your item before it goes out.  Unfortunately, if your item has already shipped and we cannot catch it in time, a new order will need to be placed.

I want to purchase many of your items for an event, can you ship them to each individual? We can!  Each item will need to be purchased seperately so that shipping is accurate for your order.  If you'd rather order all at once and hand them out yourself, you can place 1 large order.

I'm not in the US, am I responsible for customs and duty taxes? Yes, each customer is responsible for any fees, duties, or taxes that they may incur when shipping to countries outside of the US.

CUSTOM REQUESTS

Do you take custom requests? Currently, the only item that can be custom in our shop is our white custom coffee mug.  Before your item is made you will receive a proof.  Please note that custom item sales are final.  Please allow up 1-3 business days for your proof to be made.  During holiday time, this time may increase to 5 business days due to demand.  Custom mugs take up to 3-5 business days after your proof is approved to be made and shipped.  If you need 72+ mugs for an event with the same design, please contact us for special pricing and production / shipping times.

I saw your wedding invitation designs on Pinterest and would love for you to make mine! Even though we'd love to, unfortunately Owner + Designer, Melissa is unable to take on any more requests for custom designs and invitations.  We hope that you check out our wedding section of our shop and find items to help celebrate this amazing time in your life!

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Where are your products made? Our items are all designed in the USA by Owner + Designer, Melissa.  Many are made right here in the USA!  Others are designed here and imported.  All item information can be found on the specific product's page.

I am not sure how to care for my travel mugs, how do I wash them?

All travel mugs come with a care card from Sweet Water Decor to remind you to wash them in lukewarm water with a non-abrasive cloth.  To keep your travel mug looking it's best, we recommend hand washing. If they are getting a black film on them, it is due to soot from a candle.  Please trim the wicks of your candles to prevent this.  It can easily be washed off.
Your coffee mugs say "bone china" are they real bone? They are not real bone and are not made with any animal products.  They are Vegan approved!  They are a Fine Luxury China. How do I care for my new product?

ABOUT SWEET WATER DECOR

Where did your company's name come from?

Sweet Water Decor came from the name of Owner + Designer, Melissa's home town.

Where did your heart logo come from?

Our logo was hand drawn by Melissa.  Growing up, her mother always signed cards to her adding a heart after "Love, Mom".  Melissa wanted to add this love to each and every product that goes out from Sweet Water Decor.  Know that each product is designed, made, packaged, and delivered with love to you!
